Havant Thicket is part of the ancient Forest of Bere and is managed by the Forestry Commission. It is also the site of Portsmouth Water's proposed new reservoir required to meet the needs of new homes to be built in the region. We are pleased to be offer a guided walk in this beautiful area of woodland which is rich in flora and fauna.

The walk will last up to 2 hours and will be on gravel and grass paths which are, unfortunately, not suitable for wheelchairs. Suitable footwear is recommended.

Emsworth and District bus 27 bus from Havant Bus Station at 1.25pm will take you to the bus stop known as Durrants, Havant Hampshire. This is on Redhill Road and is after two roundabouts on the B2149. From there walk back to the roundabout then follow Manor Lodge Road for 250 metres to find the Forestry Commission car park on your left. For the return journey, the 27 leaves at 4:06pm.
